APRIL 20 8PM RELIGIOUS LECTURE by Reverend George Robinson Closing reception of Eric Pervukhin's current art show Martyrdom, Myth and Mayhem: paintings and prints sacred and perverse, will feature a special presentation by Reverend George Robinson from the Unitarian Universalist Church of Flushing. He will share the historical backgrounds and detailed descriptions of Pervukhin's work, which include both literal and satirical takes on famous and infamous tales of Christianity from the Holy Bible and other sources. It could perhaps explain why Pervukhin has been under extreme censorship in both Russia and the US for over 20 years. Or at least shed some light on writings from the most popular book in the world.
